into the unknown, again

I mean, you find me a cuter baby than one week old Yasha. She is just precious! So grateful for this sweet girl and her parents.

As the kiddos were all taking a bath in grandpa's big tub tonight, they were singing Frozen 2's "Into the Un-knnnoooooowwwwwnnn!" and I thought, what a theme song for life right now!

As we head out into another unknown tomorrow, it is with much to be grateful for.

I am thankful that we have had this safe and spacious and beautiful and good place to be for our family, so unexpectedly, in such a challenging time.
I am thankful we have a place to go tomorrow...for friends who have offered for years.
I am thankful for my sister, who has been such a good friend to me in all these transitions.
I am thankful for the possibility of a van for our family in Philly, and for a place with Uncle Terri and Aunt Lori for Matt and Lily for the next few days they investigate.
I'm thankful for Nikki, whose help and friendship has never been so needed and valued.  Three adults on four kids during all of this is a GIFT.
I am thankful for my dad, who worked with us all day to pack every belonging we have in the country in a storage unit today, while letting Ben help.
I am thankful for the chance to order pizza.
I am thankful for Sofie Facetiming with her bestie in Haiti today.
I am thankful for Missionary Flights, who fly into Haiti for the first time since they took us out to take out more missionaries tomorrow, hoping to bring some of our tubs with them.
I am thankful in this season of lots of travel for continued good health for all of us...unheard of.
I'm thankful for the beautiful weather, for friends texting and praying here, for our dear friends at home checking in on us continually, for His heart for His people near and far, often shining through His children. We are just NEEDING the body of Christ right now.

Lily's dam project
Sofie and Nora's "Olaf" Project
Grandpa, Matt's and my packing project...not as fun as the dam or Olaf.  I also WAY overestimated the amount of our belongings.  If anyone needs half a pod to ship things to Jackson, Mississippi...come on.  Sofie and Nora thought that we were LIVING in this pod until we can move to Jackson (and had their pillows in it before I could correct them), so, maybe having tons of extra space is a blessing in disguise just in case :)

Thankful for your love and prayers. Thankful for His love and grace.

Don't be afraid, friends. We don't have to know what He is doing as long as He is.
