Lots of sweet moments these challenging days...the very ones that keep us so busy and tired are the same ones who keep us in laughter and love. Grateful for our children, for the texts and emails of those who are praying for our family near and far, for some sunshine and for moments of making memories, even in the middle.
We are back to packing, still several weeks out from closing on a home in Mississippi, and so we are loading up a moving truck tomorrow and Thursday with mom's piano, Matt's bookcase and totes of photo albums, a few of my mom's things, some of the girls toys from over the years, a few coats, a load of books...and sending it on to Jackson, and then heading to Atlanta to stay in some dear friends' home until the house finalizes in Mississippi, hopefully sometime the week of the 20th.
We are grateful for your prayers, for your prayers for our friends and family and students and staff at Emmaus. Every day we talk to someone from home, and it is such joy to heard voices and see pictures and to encourage one another in this hard time...to video back and forth with my sister and cousins, with the Edlers and their boys...We are grateful for all the little ways--like ice cream from our dear NorthRidge Church family on the front porch today, to encouraging texts from loved ones--He reminds us how greatly He loves, and cares for, and provides for, us each.
