Merry Christmas!

Today was a special day with family and friends, remembering that Christmas in the Caribbean has it's advantages!  We spent the day at the beach with friends and the evening with more friends and I'm just thankful to have had a day away, in His beautiful creation, together as a family, and with someone else cooking :)

Baby shark has been sick and stuffy all day...which means mommy got lots of good snuggles and stuffy naps.

The big kids.

The girls were convinced we needed this dog for Christmas.
So was Kendrix.
The owner wasn't as sure.

We also had some good time with Rob, Lori and Janeen on this White Christmas, and then rushed home just in time for the Edler's fun Christmas Eve party!

This year was John Deere themed and the kiddos had so much fun!

pinwheels and palm trees
Poor Benny feels so lousy.  Hoping he'll be a bit better tomorrow!
After FaceTiming with our dear Kansas friends, we had our family candlelight service, reading the Christmas story and singing a few songs, then reading this time from Isaiah about His coming foretold.
Those living in darkness, seeing a great Light.

I'm so thankful that was me. So thankful to be entrusted with that Light in a world still, still so dark.  So thankful He still comes.

We love you...Merry Christmas!
