Merry Christmas! We had a lovely day with family and friends...riding scooters, playing Operation, crafting, enjoying good friendships and conversation and Christmas dinner, visits from friends, playing outside most of the day.
Dear Ben was sick as he's ever been and spent most of the day sleeping and stuffy, but everyone else had such a happy day!
Very thankful for FaceTime with family, and for cherished people here to spend it with, laughing and talking and learning and playing games, and for the girlies simplifying again and again this season "because Jesus came, we can go....because Jesus gave, we can give, because Jesus loved, we can love." Because of Him, we can...I'm so thankful for that hope He brings.
Several of us were wiped by the time everyone left :)
Today we worked on mountains of laundry, dishes and played! Everybody heads back to work tomorrow, starting to prepare for a really, REALLY big January...but I'm thankful for these free-er days of family!
