friends

Dodo and Bubba made it safely back to Canada after a lovely visit, lots of legos and lots of listening to unending girl stories :)  

I love having people in our lives who come and come and come again, people the girls know and consider family and look forward to seeing.  

Schools in Haiti are closed tomorrow and Thursday, and I've got to say we are very thankful...two days at a slower pace will do us all good, staff and students alike!  Matt's had a major stomach thing going on, Sofie had a rough week last week, and we've got lots of school to catch up on, Matt and I both have lots of month end tasks to complete, and Aunt Sharon is coming tomorrow!  

Tonight we all dressed up with dear friends and played twister and ate pork and pumpkin cheesecake and laughed at all the ridiculous men in our lives :)

 

You have to get extra creative when it comes to entertainment in Haiti, and we're blessed with some good friends who make it easy!
