the standard

Your theology must work itself out, exhibition itself in your most common everyday relationships.

Our Lord said, "Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:20).

In other words, you must be more moral than the most moral person you know.  You may know all about the doctrine of sanctification, but are you working it out in the everyday issues of your life?

Every detail of your life, whether physical, moral or spiritual, is to be judged and measured by the standard of the atonement by the Cross of Christ.

Lily lost her second tooth in 2 days today!
Rick's been putting up office space in the library this week...we are busting at the seams!
I sent Lily with the camera to get pictures, and she came back with this awesome shot of Rick :)
Carol caught this picture today of the three girlies and I reading a book...so nice to be getting back into some of our normals...but this time with baby girl!
And I caught this one Carol today doing two of my jobs at the same time.  I'm really praying this dear woman never leaves.
Haylie was so nervous when I handed her Nora at one week old, and now here she is, off with all the ducks in tow :)  Such a joy to live in community!!
Nora looks so much older when she's awake, just hanging with the girls!
