that's that.

Well, that's the end of that.

No, not the end of hacking and sniffling...at least not yet.

But the end of Puff.

While Mom and Dad were at prayer meeting across the driveway, a well-intentioned youngster let kitty-kitty out to play, at which point Doberman almost simultaneously snapped his chain and...Prince Puff.

As you can imagine, a rather devastating evening followed.  I hate to admit that Mom and Dad were almost as sad as two bawling youngsters.  Living in Haiti has definitely helped detach us from American "pet culture", but obviously...not enough.

Sigh.  Sometimes, even the little things pile up and make life feel hard, don't they.

Today is a national holiday, so everything is closed and the OMS Haiti field is having a full-day field meeting.

So, healing, kitty tears, meetings.
