We are currently driving the 12 hour road back to Florida, this time to meet my sister's family at my dad's 'snow bird' condo. As dad wraps up his last chemo treatments there, his "tumor team" at Cleveland Clinic will be moving him forward in Ohio. So, we're all taking advantage of Easter weekend in Clearwater to be together before this next surgery step down the road.
Thanksgiving--the last time we were all together--was before Dad's diagnosis and before anyone but Matt and I knew about this baby...so it feels like a lot has happened since then, and with so much uncertainty these next few months, I am thankful for these three days...would be so thankful for your prayers and will be sure to have precious cousin pictures...having eight kiddos living 19 hours apart is hard!
Matt wrapped up a six week evening course on Spiritual Warfare at DaySpring Community Church last night and has started preparing for summer teaching, fall classes, and summer camp meetings. He heads to both Jersey and Kentucky in May as mama works to get seventh, fifth, and first grade wrapped up before baby comes!
Grateful for your prayers these next sacred days, and grateful for Easter, a time of hope.
