My dear friend came from Atlanta for the weekend and I'm so thankful for a little precious time with her, some of it even one-on-one. We all need those rare and precious long-time nourishing and healthy friendships, and Elisa is simply the best. She's loved on all my babies, and was my friend before it all...and better has been a good friend through it all!
She left this morning, and the world kinda just caught all up on me...it was a rough day. There are some big things this season, and today I couldn't even seem to get the not big things in a row. Not often that marker on the chair or yet another spill or a little too much attitude or homeschool frustrations beat me.
Mama got to wrap the day up with some apologies, thank the Lord for dear priceless friends to travel this journey with, and is going to bed simply for a new day, His mercies new every morning.
