unfailing love

Friends, there has been so much on my mind, heart and plate that I've just not been sure how to put it all together.  So we're not...just catching up.

Our time in Florida was crazy fast, as we knew it would be, and tomorrow dad leaves the South as well and heads to Ohio and then on to the Cleveland Clinic.

These eight have such good time together and I just LOVE sitting in the middle listening, watching and laughing.

We got home late Monday night after another very long 12 hour day, and jumped right into our craziest day of the week, Tuesdays, with school, Latin, gymnastics, groceries, and small group night.

Tuesday we spoke to Jonas, who was on a bus in Port-au-Prince Sunday that was overtaken by a gang, and  miraculously escaped that situation and quickly returned home to Goaniaves only to be robbed at gunpoint on Monday going to the bank to make a deposit for the orphanage. He's so rightfully shaken up, and it's just reminded me the realities of Haiti, played out on our brothers and sisters. It reminds me that the news of Ukraine and of the world are real people...brothers and sisters. What a call to prayer.

Wednesday night I had a chance to speak on Haiti, Emmaus and mission in the life of the church at a church 30 minutes from here, and after still trying to catch up yesterday, today the kids had their last day of the Friday Program and I had a big doctors appointment....I'm not sure how we're going to keep having a vacuumed, mopped, dusted and cleaned up house at least once a week without the Friday Program! Nor can I believe that we're heading into summer already.

I'm just trying to keep up, and realizing I'm spending more and more time throughout the day and night in prayer...how lost I would be without His help and unfailing love!
