It was as hot as the surface of the sun, but a beautiful day celebrating His beautiful work through 19 of His men and women here in Haiti. So thankful for some special moments looking back and sending and them out!
Lucner's sweet son, Victory, was a HOOT today. Leme tried to keep him out the group picture, but I loved watching this little man run non-stop the entire 3 hour service.
One day, when I am old and bored, I dream of putting together a book of photography exploring the marching band culture and importance in Haiti...from funerals to major celebrations...so intriguing.
By the end of the service there were 500 hundred people here today...about 300 under the shade sails, and another 200 under the trees behind the court.
I'm also going to do a book one day of "children in all cultures are the same." It's probably wrong of me, but I really enjoyed watching these lovely women wrestle with their ornery little man today, further proving that NO two year old does well in a 3 hour church service. Or in a suit.
Some of the best, right here, from Lucner to Elize, Claudin and Jodenel, Guenon and Leme, we are so blessed to have some strong godly men making up our core staff at EBS.
This special time of prayer and sending out is always so powerful...
...and a book on prayer around the world!...I have many retirement plans :)

And that's just always going to be one of my favorites, too. A little impromptu hug-fest broke out after the prayer and it was beautiful.
One of the highlights of this graduation will always be the song the class wrote and performed. I'll share the video tomorrow, but it was so fun and meaningful!
Jean William was the valedictorian this year, and his speech was so on point, powerful and highlighted some of the bests of each graduating student...they've become a family these years, well-known.
Add in about 700 more pictures and pouring sweat, and you've got a glimpse of a great day!
By the time I made it through the 3+ hours mostly in the sun, I was wiped, but did get a good moment with Granny and Rose...I am incredibly thankful for the older, Godly women in my life...always encouraging and inspiring me, praying for me. What a display of mommas God has given me to pray and learn to be like.
Today was a gift. Tomorrow, some video!!
