Sorry friends!
We've been ironing school uniforms and installing shelves and packing lunches and making cinnamon rolls and mopping and prepping speeches and airport runs and cooking up a storm and in a few days I'll have a good update.
But for today, I am grateful:
for families who scrub and fix and vacuum homes not their own for events they won't attend
for neighbors who scour their cabinets for punch bowls and tea kettles
for little ones who relish having grandparents in their home
for friends who kidnap the kids and plop them in hammocks and give mommy a few hours to clean
for Grammys who do hair
for Joanna Gaines' cookbooks and for stores that have the foods that recipes call for
for in-person opportunities these next days to celebrate men and women from around the world graduating
to finally meet board members and their spouses
for the men and women who have travelled far and sacrificed much to join us this weekend for Matt's inauguration (which the girls keep calling "Daddy's Incarnation")
for a family of many, and an Audience of One
