rich

What a precious first few busy days these have been in Kansas, from lots of speaking and sharing, to lots of catching up with lots of precious partners and friends and family. We have been hungry for time with these faithful and encouraging friends and how good the time has been, already so full of good conversation, food, fun for the kids and catching up on lives we care deeply about.

From husking corn and camping out with Aunt Sharon, to giggling pretty much continually with Uncle Martin, to shooting fireworks with the Robinsons and Sunderlands, playing at the pool with lots of kid friends now 2 feet taller, to swimming with Uncle Issac, to teaching and sharing at church, to joining other missionaries for a global cultures night at NorthRidge, to sitting with past board members, visitors to Haiti, and cherished friends...the word for these days is RICH.

Sofie spent one sharing session repurposing face masks into "flip flop socks" and not-pictured is her plan for "disposable bras"...you're welcome. This girl.

Sofie decided to experience her first high-dive experience with her first front flips...truly, these girls are FEARLESS.
And Nora decided the diving board would be fun, too.

These friends are just precious to us, faithful through and through and mostly from afar, our families have been through so much together. Today was such a precious day to swim and laugh and talk and play and to be thankful for these dear and godly friends for our family! It was also kind of fun to NOT be pregnant together this time, too  How how how faithfully they have lifted us up and have been lifted up!

These guys are just a few days apart, and same with their sisters...
I'm wiped in a good way! We're off for boating with the Ackerman's (fondly known in our family as "Mr. and Mrs. Ovalhead" from one of their many trips to Haiti over the years) in the morning, and dinner with the Voos Crew.  Our hearts are full. Thank you for praying us safe journey!
