prayers

Dear friends, this afternoon our missions agency, OMS sent out a required, all field evacuation if flights were possible, whenever they were possible. This has NEVER happened since 2007, and while they've been letting us decide, a few events recently changed that today.

For almost a week, that has been utterly impossible.  Tonight at 9 PM, Missionary Flights International called saying they JUST received permission from both governments to finally fly, and our entire team is on tomorrow's flight.  Once again, the Lord seems to be opening doors.

We are going through a MILLION emotions, a million tasks...can I ask for your prayers?  I need your prayers, we need your prayers.

Pam pointed out tonight that there are two kinds of trust, the kind that you are hanging onto God for dear life because you have no choice, and the kind of trust that you are praising the Lord and at peace.

The second kind I've been resting in has been replaced by the first...but I DO trust Him.  We all need your prayers.  Thank you.

We have stopped thinking "this is it", and are recognizing that we will need to go now (heading to Ohio), use this "frozen" time to move to Mississippi (doesn't that sound fun) and then come back as soon as our semester restarts here to finish teaching our classes, enjoy graduation and finish ACTUALLY well...with the goodbyes that are so vital to all of us.

Thank you for your prayers...

Planning to travel tomorrow are Uncle Dave and Aunt Marilyn, Ms. Colleen, Ms. Pam, the Grosses, Janeen, Nikki, the Edlers, and our family.

all the pieces of our hearts
