prayers and pictures

I know I say it all the time, but this really is a beautiful country. Taking a walk together Saturday afternoon, the rainbow on our mountain was gorgeous...
...driving to church Sunday...
...the annual Christmas soccer championship...
It's beautiful.

Ben wants to be a soccer star so badly...he loves it. All he does, inside or outside, is drops whatever ball/lime/ornament he has in his hands and starts kicking it.

Sunday we worshipped with Micheline and her family, which is always so good.

Today we kicked off final's week...we always have a lot to celebrate as we wrap up the semester, but never like this year. I can't tell you how many times over the semester no one knew if we'd be able to have class tomorrow....if they'd be able to come...how we were going to get through the week. And suddenly we're at the end of the semester having missed only ONE day, and the Lord has been so faithful to protect and provide and persevere.

I caught this little one in the cafeteria begging juice in the middle of chapel :)
And then these guys spent the morning while the sisters were at school playing, for hours, with a hose and a cup.

Reminding us again not to buy Christmas presents :)

We have final exams all week, Matt is on his way out again tomorrow, last trip of the year, this time for the Francis Asbury Society's Speakers Conference in Wilmore, KY. Phil and Emily are heading in for a few days for women's retreat/year end, Friday is our year-end Thanksgiving service, and Monday is our staff Christmas party...!  Just a little full :)  Thank you for your prayers!
