Yesterday we had a precious family Sabbath at the beach, enjoying watching the cousins and swimming with the nieces and having grandpa here and His creation.
Aunt Lisa and Lily have been beach buddies for a long time...
So thankful for yesterday. So thankful for these precious rich memories with family and for all that God has done and is doing.
Unfortunately, today Mayah woke up very unwell. Her and Addy's colds have been getting worse throughout the week, but by this morning she was not in good shape. I am thankful once again for Dr. Rodney, who got here early and got her on an iv, and I am thankful they are now almost to Philly, and Mayah on her way to the hospital, dear girl. Please be praying for them.
I'm thankful for all these sweet memories, and for the cousins to finally get to come to Aunt Stacey's house!
My dad is here for another few days still, Lily is about to turn 11, the first visitors of the New Year arrive tomorrow (Rick and Carol!) and then Pam...Larry and Verna...Nikki...
The market is full of all the fixings for January 1st Independence Day Pumpkin Soup, and we are all praying for a brighter New Year for Haiti...until then, we're just going to shine brighter.
