Christ among us

Well, just look at our little Walnique...breastfeeding, breathing on his own, gaining some weight. I can't even look at this picture without crying out in awe...Our Good God, caring for His people, redeeming all that which was broken, reminding me again through a baby. Thank you for your precious and powerful prayers!

We have the best news in the world that I've been kind of waiting for it to get closer to get excited in case things fell through, but we have precious family coming for Christmas, my sister, Adam, her kiddos, and a few days later, my dad!  Lisa and Adam haven't been able to come the last few years with new babies, so we are all so so excited to finally show the cousins our lives and home and food and friends. The girls are beside themselves!

While I'm sure people think she's a bit nuts for bringing young children to Haiti, I guess it's the same people who think I'm nuts for having young children in Haiti, so we're going to put all our young children together, 8 under 10, for a joyful, chaos Caribbean Christmas at home, OUR home, and praise the Lord.

There will be some fun posts next week, I assure you :)

Meanwhile, send us your Christmas cards!!  I know it's late....ours are, too, but we love love having you on our door and reminders in our prayers...

He reminds me again and again that He is here.

What more do we need than Christ among us?

What more do we need to be than Christ among people?

What more do we need to share than Christ among us?

Grateful for the good gifts of His presence!
