our birth team

Last July, during yet another very politically unstable time, it was time for Ben to come. And we weren't sure if Dr. Jen could get in, or if Aunt Sharon could get it, or if we'd be able to get to the hospital, or when BEN would come.

And the Lord opened all kinds of doors and gave all kinds of grace and Jen and Paul and Sharon could get in and we could not get to the hospital and Ben came RIGHT at the perfect time, didn't even wake up the girls, and those days were these days and just so precious and grace-filled miracles in my mind and heart.

And to minister to our family in a weary time, Sharon is here for a few weeks, and to minister to mamas and babies and Milot, Dr. Jen is here for 11 days, and their weekends, THIS weekend, overlap.

I feel so richly blessed all over again to have these women in my life, and to have them in my life TOGETHER, just exactly right now.

I feel richly blessed all over again for God's gift of a safe delivery in our home, for God's gift of Ben.

I'm grateful for the fortifying manner of good and godly friends, and for the way God used these two women in one of many miracles for the Ayars in Haiti...and to remember that, today.
