There might be a lot of struggles, and they can be consuming. But there is an awful lot of beauty, too.
I am so incredibly thankful for the men and women and children around us, and for all of His love I see in them, for all that He is always teaching me through them.
Emmaus is a beautiful place in more ways than one.
With our annual Christmas soccer matches and the cooler breezes, and the kids running around...it is just beginning to look a lot like Christmas to the Ayars!
Ben ADORES soccer, and it kills him when he's not allowed to run after the ball.
I LOVE these two, chatting it up.
Lily loves living the college life :)
Daddy came home today after having a great time at SBL...thank you for your prayers! His presentation went really well, and it was a huge encouragement to him to be with many of the scholars there, and to be able to share some of what he's spent so many years working on. Where he felt awfully small, the Lord showed up in a big way.
He does that, our Lord. In fact, I think being strong in our weakness might be some of His very best work.
I'm praying some of His very best work for Haiti...for we are weak in so much.
But not in faith.
