This morning we enjoyed a fuel-free trip to church, and fuel-free worship, all of which blessed my heart. It's always a joy to worship with our friends and neighbors, but especially to come together and pray and encourage one another when times are extra tough.
Today as we sang "He Leadeth Me" in French, my heart was blessed to sing a hymn I've been singing my whole life, and remembering that it's words are TRUE, all the while praying it for His people.
Nora always busts out some amazing artwork in church :)
While Ben tries to wander around and steal snacks.
The streets have been busy all day, and fuel has been coming up and getting a bit easier to get...we are feeling hopeful for tomorrow! Lots of students retuned this evening and we're praying for a good day of classes tomorrow! THANK YOU for all your prayers...keep. them. coming. It runs deep, all this darkness. He is working. He is working. We've gotta keep praying and being faithful.
Matt very happily watched the Eagles win today (not a fuel-free fun, but man, was he excited) and Ben got into everything he could. He's also REALLY into wearing one shoe lately, as well as talking up a storm in his own language.
Can I ask you one more fuel-free prayer favor?
Our dear friends have been sick, I mean, really really sick, for almost 10 days now. They're not getting answers, not getting better, and have grown quite weak and discouraged and are at a breaking point. They've done everything they can and gotten all the help they can, and we're working on emergency exit at this point. But we are praying tonight for a CHANGE. For some healing. For a definite cease in additional symptoms and problems and complications, and for a definite IMPROVEMENT when they wake up tomorrow. Praying for this downhill battle to shift, even now. Please be praying with us...they are in need of mighty prayers. Thank you, friends.
