all those praying people

We are really thankful for your prayers.  And I'm asking for them to continue!

We knew January was going to be busy--but it has been moreso.

Pray for our team of 8 with MFM Canada here this 10 days, pouring stairs for the new classroom building and getting a move on the tiling.  Pray for their safety at work and their relationships at work, too, together, with the Lord, and with Emmaus. They are a gift.

Pray for our visiting professors as they're teaching from 8-11:30 each day, Pam, Larry, Verna and their daughter Emma.

Pray for all of our students, new and old, as they work to balance studies and family and ministry and financial responsibilities and new learning styles and WHEW.  They have many burdens and many demands on them!

Pray for our staff as we're all teaching and planning and meeting and seeking wisdom for a lot of decisions / issues / classes...etc!  How do you feed students spaghetti for breakfast, as is custom, but visitors spaghetti for dinner, as is custom?  How do you house 20 female students in 3 rooms or decide who gets those three rooms if everyone can't? What do you do about __ and __ and ___ and ___who are struggling financially / medically / educationally?  How do you start off the second cohort in our Master's of Education Program WELL this week with 35? How many more millions of details need attended to before Jean-William and Rujerry leave for Togo!?

Pray for our missionary family, caring for many, and trying to figure out how to facilitate food and activities and transportation and church and projects and good care for many visitors and many students.

Pray for Haiti as political tensions continue to be high, and as the fuel crisis is not going away, affecting EVERY area of life.  You can't get groceries, come to class, keep your fridge cold, have internet, run your moto, take your kids to school, charge your cell phone...without FUEL.  It's incredibly difficult to find, prices are sky rocketing, and when it is found and can be paid for, hours of waiting are required.

Pray for our family, as we're sharing our lives and days and moments with many, and working to grow in Him as we do.

Pray for Matt, as he's at the helm of all that.  That is a LOT of coordinating, vision-casting, planning, facilitating, relation-shipping, delegating, problem solving, listening, serving and leading, and as good as so much of it is, that's a lot of s-t-r-e-s-s.

Side: Pray for my little niece, Mayah, who just is not getting there like expected to be. If there is a set-back available, she seems to be finding it. Pray for my sister and her family, five of whom are dealing with major stomach bugs....the one thing Mayah isn't.

Thank you, family, for praying as we pray.  There is much at stake...the cause too precious to half-heart or rush through. Your prayers, lining it all, are needed and felt and heard.
