Ah...Christmas break. With no dad. We're pulling out all the stops! Here's a few highlights :)
Day one: Sofia is designing signed Styrofoam hats...and they're Ben's favorite.
Nora and Joel have taught all the animals to read, just since break started, too.
And Sofie's new favorite is reading books to the littles...I love it.
Direct quote from today, "Sofie, seriously, WHERE is Nora?"
Sof: "She's out back, Mom, playing with the baby tarantula."
Oh good.
I am so thankful they are best friends.
Even the 12,000 times I have already had to remind them of that this Christmas break.
Ben also thinks they're as fantastic as Sofie's hats.
This is the 97th tower...
And the 80th dictated piece of artwork...
All the girls are waiting for snow :)
And we've painted puppets of every character in the entire Christmas story from start to finish...production coming soon!
Uncle Joe's funeral went well today. I'm really thankful Matt was able to be there with and for his mom. Tomorrow Matt'll get to meet our sweet Mayah and then heads home Monday...for which I am also thankful. We've all been a part a lot lately and I'm looking forward to being family this Christmas!
And a partridge in a pear tree :)
