lovely Christmas

Matt is safely home and kind of hit the ground running...meetings and a radio station broadcast and trying to get things caught up so he can take a few days off.  His uncle's funeral went well and we're thankful his frequent flyer miles both enabled me to go see my sister and enabled him to go for the funeral, and to have good time with his mom, Aunt Lori and Uncle Terri.

The girls and I spent all day Sunday with friends, for which we are so thankful...riding four-wheelers and making gingerbread barns.  You know it's been a good day when you pass out on the way home, covered in mud.

Haiti is beautiful...especially at sunset.  Driving home with Christmas music blasting and the warm wind in our hair, I was thankful for the way God gives Christmasy moments, even if they are so different than the December Christmas moments I experienced as a child.

Thankful for friends to get everyone to and from church when Matt's gone :)
