all things new

The depot was the only building on the Emmaus campus whenever it was purchased and walled in.  Instead of tearing it down, it was decided that it would be a fine storage shed for tools, and for the last years, that's exactly what it's been.

The old depot has been so dark, dilapidated and crumbling, that this is literally the ONLY picture I can find of it...well, of it's front step and awesome blue door, from Lily's first Valentine's day in Saccanville.

When Matt and Phil decided to treat are major issue of lack of office space by turing the old depot into offices, I did NOT think it was a good idea.  Matt would say I am very opinionated :)  But I just could NOT see how it's huge holes and oil-stained floors and falling in roof could be an office space anyone would want.

Thankfully, they ignored Miss Opinionated.

Phil and Junel and all kinds of other people...Rick, LifeTree teams, Ethan, Maxi and Magloire, have been working on it ever since, and today...Jodenel, Claudin, Belony and I moved into its gorgeous transformation.

And today....
Main entrance, Belony's desk, bookstore...
student life office, with Claudin
Finance and Marketing office, with Jodenel and I...

I mean, I know the pictures don't do it justice, but MAN...what a transformation.  THANKFUL for all of the skills and incredible hard work and perseverance of many, but especially of Phil.  Just so impressive...and such a great space to be able to work and care for students without stepping on top of each other (and climbing under Jodenel's desk to get to the safe!)
Our old finance office / bookstore / marketing space.  (Minus both of us and 2-3 students at a time :)

Very Very Thankful!!!
Now you can come visit us.

Meanwhile, here's a few photos from the last few days...
