Grammy and Pop-Pop took the girls to the pool for an hour this afternoon and gave me some sweet quiet time with this one, the Lord and 1st John.
Holding her, one of the big themes of 1st John of being children of God took on such new meaning.
See how great a love
the Father has lavished upon us
that we would be called children of God
Crazy that He loves and values and cherishes and pursues and cares for each one of us...EVERY one of us, like He has put the desire in us to do for Nora.
Crazy to be loved like that. Not by an imperfect, fallen-short, doing their best parent. But by a Holy and Awesome and definition-of-Love Father God.
