made it!

It was still overcast this morning, but we WENT for it...and it turned beautiful.  So thankful for a beautiful last day for Barb and Keith!
We took them to our favorite little private beach...and were the only ones there all day.  They are from Jersey, so of course, really appreciate seafood.
I, on the other hand, don't really appreciate food with teeth.  Ohio.

We had a really great time.
The kids then turned the beaches old wave runner dock into a boogie board slide.
And Matt tried this little stunt, which yes, resulted in blood :)

I love how much fun our 3, 5, 12 and 14 year olds have together!

then Grammy found the biggest conch snail I've ever seen not cooked for lunch...

A Royal Caribbean cruise ship was in today, too...which meant after they pulled out, we were able to buy burgers and hot dogs from the food they brought off the boat but can't take back on...This always makes Emily and I doubly happy to have been to the beach.
On the way home, Lily and Sofie had a long discussion about whether mattress man had a head, or did not have a head :)

We do always have fun in the car!

SO SO thankful Grammy and PopPop took a few days away to spend with us....it was SO good to have this good time with them!!!
