I'm sorry I've been such a lame blogger lately!
It is that final push, and I feel like life is taking so much energy and grace right now that when it comes to the end of the day, my mind is mushed out.
The girls both had their first day of exams today, my first year students took their final English exam (those results were NOT good...hopefully the girls did better!), we have several more finals to give this week and grade, and everyone is working overtime on this registration thing!
We received the happy happy news last week that our dear Fanfan and his wife, Majorie, are expecting. Fanfan is such a gift to our lives and to Emmaus, and we're so happy for them!
Em and I are taking on making dozens of Christmas cookies for Thursday night, and have been wrapping everything we can find to make 20 gifts for a gift exchange game. This is going to be a very cross-culturally entertaining evening :)
The weather has been pristine, we have all been healthy, and we have four days to closing a fabulous but very long semester :) Much to be thankful for and so many men and women (who are also very tired and ready for a bit of a break!) to be thankful for, too!
Hebrews continues to be so good, the Lord continues to be with us, and we are going to finish well! Thank you for your continued prayers for His grace and endurance!
