We had an AWESOME service this morning with a church plant one of our students-now-staff members planted four years ago today. It was such a fun birthday celebration with many of our friends and family.
Five or six different groups were there to sing, and we knew lots of people in those groups, too...making worshipping together just so fun!
Matt (can you even see him there?) preached a great "birthday" sermon on why we must look like Jesus as the church, sound like Jesus, do like Jesus...and what that all looks like.
Matt absolutely abhors balloons (some weird thing with the smell of latex) and he literally bristled when we saw the beautifully decorated church...to see him preaching with balloons all around his face was...hilarious :) He didn't think so.
This is the Vaudreil choir, led this morning my Gertha's husband Wislin with lots of friends throughout. Enjoy!
