Sofia's Lovely.

What a gift to celebrate little Sofie today.  If you don't care to see 20 pictures, that's ok :)  Come back tomorrow.  But for anyone else...

 Her cake hasn't been made yet.

Her present didn't come.

But there were balloons, and she was incredibly happy to be THREE.

Aunt Lee came home early and we headed for (shudder) Chuck E. Cheese's, because Lily told her all about HER third birthday she somehow meticulously remembers, and Sofie thought THAT would be wonderful.

And they made it  more than wonderful.  

sidenote: never ever let Sofie or Lily drive your car, bike, lawnmower, wheelchair, remote control car, etc.

They are gleefully horrific drivers.

We missed Matt dearly, and there were more than a few, "Where's Grandpa?", but it was such a fun day just being together, with cake and a gift and a day at the zoo and Grammy and PopPop popping in to look forward to!  

Thankful for every day, even the very s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g ones, with this very precious gift of Sofia Lovely!
