It is a great gift to be able to be here for my sister right now. I know it's always a gift to be able to help each other, but I long all year in Haiti just to be there for our family and friends, so to have the chance to make breakfast for them and run to the store for them and stay up with them and do some laundry is truly a blessing.
Lily has bloomed into quite the little mother overnight. She could hold Evie for hours! So sweet watching them love on her!

Meanwhile, Cindy was properly indoctrinated into the family by doing new baby less than 3 weeks after the big wedding! She and Dad drove all the way to Philly, and did lots and lots of Lily and Sofie time so that I could do Lisa and Evie time. The original plan was for Matt to do this, but Evie coming 2 weeks early wasn't in the original plan, either! They swam at the hotel pool, ate ice cream much too late, learned lots of new songs and stories, and I don't even know who learned the most! The girls (and the rest of us) were genuinely sad to see them go today. So thankful for all their help and to have Dad have a great best friend to go home with!!
Meanwhile, back home, our EBS team finished just a GREAT week with a GREAT team, and as much as we hated missing it, we are just so proud and THANKFUL to be able to have ministry like this happening well and with so much prayer. We speak at this team's church in three weeks, and can't wait to hear their side! SO GRATEFUL FOR OUR EBS TEAM!!!
Matt flies into Ohio tomorrow (Monday) night, late, will unpack and repack for three weeks of speaking and sharing and family on the East coast, and then fly into Philly Tuesday morning. He will be exhausted, but we will all be so very happy to be together!!
