The last few weeks have been so crazy that all kinds of little moments have slipped by unshared!
Having the Heckman's and Matt's pastor here for board meetings (Pastor Doug, far left) was such a joy for all of us...even if Haylie was freezing the night he took us out for pizza!
Board meetings meant lots and lots of eating together!
We had a great end of the year Fiesta at the Bundys...
The girls are becoming BMX professionals with Ryan...
And loving the rope swing Phil put up...
Our cushions from Aunt Sharon came one week before board meetings, and WOW.
Such a difference. These poor cushions have been through a lot since 2007, and having nice new cushions has been just WONDERFUL. With tall backs :)
We have had rain every. single. day. during drought season :) It has everything looking SO good and green, though it's a bit tough on the laundry piles!
All our corosaol is almost ready to be picked and made into juice and ice cream!
Getting ready to leave home for 2 months means lots of "extra" projects this week, like defrosting the freezer, which the girls thought would be a nice place to sleep. Matt's tried many times over the years :)
Aunt Sharon is back from Port-au-Prince, which meant that we could all take Emily out for her birthday last night without the girlies! They had a great night being spoiled at home, and we had an awesome time celebrating this fantastic friend and neighbor!
My grandpa has been in the hospital and slowing starting to improve, my dear sister also celebrated her birthday on the 17th, the cat is heading over to Ryan and Cheyenne's for the summer, my dad's wedding is quickly approaching, Lily is doing final exams all this week, and we're good-bying left and right!
Oh my.
We need prayers for better good health and for another time of crazy transition we are not feeling ready for yet!
You made me tired just reading your post. Special prayers for your Grandpa, I know how special he is to you, and to your dad as this wedding approaches so quickly. Most of all that you will be blessed this summer as your transition back to the States, for all the people that you will cross paths with and that God will richly bless your time "back home".
