You come to Haiti, but when you leave, Haiti becomes like a grain of sand in your shoe...you will never forget it is there.
I've never been so thankful for a grain of sand in my life.
And I've never been so thankful to BE a grain of sand in so many of your hearts, prayers and minds.
We continue to be blown away, blessed and thankful by how many of you follow this blog, pray for us, help us, email us, and love us. Blown away by how many of you do not ever seem to forget our little family, your grain of sand.
This summer once again, we'll be traveling quite a bit and sharing all we can about the place, the people, and the calling that continue to rub, rub, rub....
We travel and speak in the summer for so many reasons!
We come and go to find ministry partners for Emmaus Biblical Seminary and for our family.
We travel to MEET many of you we have never been able to meet.
We try to come to where you are so we can catch-up, spend time, grow in relationship, put faces with names, be a part of YOUR lives.
We speak in churches all summer to share and preach the Gospel, to share a bit of what God is doing in a different part of the world, to encourage and to thank and to challenge.
We travel and speak and meet and greet because we believe--just as with this blog--that God doesn't give us our journeys only for ourselves, but to give back to Him and to share with others.
We come because WE MISS YOU.
We log the miles because there is no greater joy than traveling with toddlers!
OK, one of those reasons is not true...but the rest!
We travel and speak while Emmaus Biblical Seminary is on summer break because there is sand in our shoes that has changed our very lives and hearts and walks with Jesus...and we have some to share.
I know it seems early, but our short time stateside is already filling up.
Please send us an email (staceyhaiti@gmail.com) and let us know what and where and when, and we will get back to you about getting your church or family some sand in their shoes...for His glory!
If there is snow where you are in June-July-August, please refrain.
Will you be in Kansas, perhaps?? I know some boys who need some swimming pointers from your daughters :)
