This morning in Flaville was a lot of fun!

Matt preached on the character of Christ that is to be alive and well in us, and we had so many visitors that Junior joined him to translate.  Both of these brothers have a lot of intermingled Creole and English coexisting in their brains, so it was amusing for the whole church to hear Matt in English, June in Creole, then Matt in Creole and June and English, there and back again a dozen times as we worshipped the Lord together!

That little brick and tin-topped church was like an OVEN...Lily kept joking that she felt like a little sweet roll baking.  Later, my friend Anna sent me this weather report, and while I'm not sure it was quite THAT hot yesterday...it sure did FEEL like it :)

Nonetheless, it was a great day to be the Body of Christ and to worship together in our heart languages!
