days are busy

Excuse my silence...we are going through the "great turnover" and I don't have anything better to share with you than the Baron story, anyway :)

Our VP's (visiting professors) finished up their courses on Romans and Intro to the NT and headed out this morning.  At the same time, Matt picked up most of the next slew of VP's...Bob and Launa P. of Texas, Chris G. and Ryan W. of Kansas, with Bryan E. of Indiana coming in later this afternoon.

So, our crew has grown substantially, just about every bed is full, and it is GOOD to have the first session behind us, the next session ahead, and good friends coming and going!

Meanwhile, Matt is downright overjoyed to have yet another flock of Bible and Theology nerds around his table...most of lunch was spent discussing the dating of the pyramids and how it relates to our theology of Israel.  I do not know WHAT they were talking about.  I just wanted to know how everybody's kids are.

It's hard to form a subtle breach from whether we are pre-or-post something or other on the migration of Israel to what new words our two-year olds are using.

Tomorrow Matt's preaching at Belo's church in Flavil, and hopefully everything will be set to hit the ground running.

I still have a bit more to share with you on Baron, but until then, here's some photos from the last days...

both girls love English chapel Fridays!

This is Matt welcoming Junior to the team!  He started Friday as EBS's new IT guy!

What is that, you say? That is yet another rat. On my stove. In the middle of the day. "PPPPPPHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLL" proceeded to chase it BACK out the screen and shoot it in the head with a BB gun. Then, Lily and Sofie bend over it with glee, cooing, "AWWWW. MOM! Look! He is SOOOO cute!"

And another rat flies over the wall.

Days are busy :)
