Matt flew to Atlanta and back again yesterday to meet with Richmond University about working a Christian Counseling track into Emmaus' program. He had a great time and a few great meetings, and even got a quick catch up with friends Elisa, Maria and James! Thanks, Craig, for setting all this up and making it happen!
The students are constantly asking for help with how to counsel those in their churches, who turn to their pastors for all kinds of help. This might be a great way to help them be better equipped to deal with issues in their churches like marital conflict, rebellion in their children, death, poverty, hunger, family conflict, mental issues, depression, etc.
Today we're off to spend some time with Grandma Kay, and tomorrow we're getting ready for Sofie's baptism and sharing at our home church, Sharptown. Add in Skype conferences with Emmaus administration, preparing ahead for a team of 18 coming from Sharptown to Haiti right after we return to Haiti, keeping three little ones busy and keeping up with work through email and phone, it's been BUSY!
You have the energy of super women! :)
