on the road again

After a nice breakfast with Matt's family (we had such a good two weeks with you all...thank you!!), a great service at Cornerstone Church and a few last errands, we hit the road again and two stops, three dirty diapers, an Elmo, Tangled and Veggie Tales, and a good hour of Sofie screaming later...we arrived in Somerset, PA.

My dad met us here at my grandparents, and tomorrow my aunt is joining us to meet Sof and to spend some time together!  Tomorrow evening we'll make the rest of the trip back to Ohio, where Sofie's passport has miraculously arrived (this is quite a feat to go from birth to passport in less than a month).  Tuesday we'll meet with Sofie's doctor, get some vaccinations and make sure the doctor has no reservations about Sofie finally going HOME.  (You know that mom-desire thing to have your baby and take him/her home, where you have everything ready for them?  I'm still waiting!!)

Just bought our tickets to Florida for the 15th, then our flight into Haiti happens at 6 am on the 16th.

Between now and then?  Vacation.   Yep, we're doing it...a real vacation!  Five whole days away in Gatlinburg, TN in a little cabin in the woods (a Matt dream-come-true vacation) to finish up our time in the States and to start out a new year of life and ministry in Haiti.   We are very excited!
