Today marked our blog's 40,000th hit since this time last year, which we both found very exciting!  We started blogging when we moved to Canada in January of 2007 because after emailing my dad and sister, Matt's parents and brother, and our grandparent's in rotation about our experiences, it seemed to make the most sense to just write ONE update and let them each check in.

To be honest, I still write most of our blogs with that same group in mind...just letting our family know what is up, what we're going through and what He's doing.  I LOVE that "our family" has come to involve you, and so many others, many of whom we've never even met.

As a matter of fact, when checking some statistics this morning, this past week we had hits from the US, Canada, the UK, Czech Republic, Spain, Iceland (who in the world?), Korea, France, the Philippines, Ecuador and Denmark.  Obviously, our parents aren't the only ones checking in any more :)

We're thankful to be on this journey with you, and grateful for an opportunity to share what He's doing in our hearts, lives, and in this tiny corner of the world...which we continue to believe is very precious to Him.

  3. hey stacey (and matt and lily & new baby sophie),

this is kristina (rader) erny from asbury. i'm the one from korea checking in on your blog. i heard that you guys were in haiti with oms from benjamin's mom who works in recruiting there (jenny erny). I love reading about what God is doing in haiti and seeing your beautiful family. my son ephraim is 20 mo. and we are expecting our 2nd son any day now!!! i think lily and ephraim would be quite the pair if they ever got a chance for a play-date. some fun would be had, that is for sure.

thank you for what you share with all the rest of us. it is inspiring and we are thanking God for all of it.

    -kristina
