home safe and sick

We arrived safely back in Haiti yesterday morning at 9 am, our bags at noon, and safely home at 1:30.  We are glad to be home, but all sick, sick, sick.  I've been sick for days now, but Lily and Matt finally caught on and now we're all struggling with stuffiness, sniffling, coughing and "SICK", as Lily keeps telling us.  "Need medicine!" she tells me 10 times an hour, though neither she (at 2) nor I (at 27 weeks) are really able to take anything.

We're back in the classroom this morning, excited to hear about different church, community and evangelical efforts which took or are taking place.

Getting ready for my last SEEP (Saccanville Evangelical English Program) on Saturday, trying to close out February financially for the Seminary, Matt is catching up from a few days off from his Masters, and all trying to get better quickly!

We also learned yesterday of a choice a very good friend has made that must result in his job termination this week (he was already unfortunately on probation, and then "seriously, last chance!" probation, leaving no other options).  Please be praying for Matt, with the help of either Luke or Paul, in this situation, as that it is particularly heartbreaking to fire a friend, especially here, where there is there is almost NO hope of him being able to find another job or another way to provide for his family.

Better update on life here as soon as I stop hacking!
