another concrete miracle...

Jil's house two weeks ago...

remnants...

...and today. Jil (front) and his children are all helping with his new two room house, built in the exact spot of their old home.

Lily loving on little Wendy...

Jil and Mimose's 3rd looks JUST like Mimose.

Lily hanging out with some of the neighbor kids...

Just a few yards over, these three houses are being built as well, all 4-room houses. I passed 13 others between our house and Jil's, all about at this same level of construction.

It is set in stone: God continues to work and move and to bring Hope to seemingly Hopeless situations. It shouldn't be overwhelming.

But it is.

  2. Amazing......I just love seeing these pictures...May he not only be building with bricks for these people, but may he be building in their souls!

God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home. Ephesians 2: 20-22
