daily joys

I've been off social media this 21 days of prayer and fasting through our morning church, so here's some everyday sweetness to catch you up...Nora's bday, braces for Sofie, first days of school, neighborhood pools on 100 degree days (WHY does MS start school so early, I have NO idea!) church, potty training and little homeschool daily joys (also sometimes called "daily chaos.")

We are DEEPLY blessed to have our beloved Gaga helping us out with homeschool again this year of 8th, 4th, 1st and 2! I am so grateful for the grace and bandwidth that brings. On Gaga days we finish by lunch, and her gifts of time, energy, wisdom, patience and love are priceless to us!

Lily and our bonus girls are at the same school as last year, Lily in 10th grade and driving with a parent most of the days! She is thrilled to be back with her friends...but her friends at home miss her :) We continue to get to see and be a part of our bonus girls' lives almost every day. Matt took them on a special date night last night and I'm grateful for the continued opportunities to water seeds and to be family.

Emma is insistent she be out of diapers and doing all the other big girl things, so we are following her lead (her favorite family activity, for sure :) Little thing is SUCH a youngest baby!

Our evening church carries on until the new build-out is finished...so I watch as the Lord continues to bless us and encourage our hearts by our morning church family, but also weave us deeper into our evening family! We are definitely where the Lord has placed us, in His love and mercy and wisdom, and I am so grateful for all that this new body of believers is teaching us and growing with us in! I also continue to be SO grateful Matt is not traveling 50% of the time. That was a lot harder--and we all missed out on a lot more--than I ever let myself realize! Pastoring is not easy, but it has been far more PRESENT, and we are all praying and weaving and serving together. Matt is here this weekend, and I'm so grateful!

blessed by your faithful prayers
