grace

We are falling into bed late-late every night and the days are filled with such sweet times of connections with friends and family...

Matt doing staff devotions for the local church or breakfast with a pastor-friend, cousin time in Philadelphia or time with friends and their precious children, preaching or sharing at night or visiting dear friends who are hurting, precious times of powerful prayer, encouraged hearts and hurting hearts, opportunities to hold hands and pray with people we've been praying with from afar for so long, hanging out with our dear Miss Nikki or beloved Uncle Don, sitting around the table late into the night with Aunt Lori and Uncle Terry, talking and laughing and crying and talking some more.

There are a LOT of stubborn places that have been prayed over a million times and they are not breaking.  We're going to keep praying...He has brought us TO far to think ANY investment of prayer is wasted, or to think that ANY long-season of no change means HE is not at work.

He is at work and He is not done, and neither our prayers.

Especially precious were Matt's times of teaching at First Wesleyan, with so many good friends and family and strangers, and my time with the women of Sharptown for a night of prayer and testimony. I might not be able to share without tears, but when there are no dry eyes and the Lord has pointed me to Himself, I really do love to testify.

How many brothers and sisters are so ready and anxious to be the church to one another!  If you're feeling lonely tonight, ask for help.  God's got His people (GRACE) simply e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
