sweet and crazy

Oh, dear Nora.  She made it through an hour of school, and was brought home with a 101 fever, just burning up.  She HAD felt warm Friday morning, but I thought it was because she was running around like a crazy girl, excited to be off to school.  She spent the rest of the day mostly sleeping on the couch (something she would NEVER do) and is still fevering today.  SO, we'll try that again when she's doing better, and meanwhile the rest of our missionary team headed to the beach while the big girls did their first big week of French homework and had about a zillion friends over in the afternoon. To play school, of course :)

Meanwhile, this is Dr. Philip Richardson, Matt's co-worker through his VP for Theological Education position at OMS and friend!  He's teaching Pauline Epistles this week and next with our first year class...
And here's Dr. Childric Presume with our third year class.
My friend Jodenel is also teaching Evangelism and Discipleship, but I've yet to grab a picture.
My run last night was simply gorgeous...fall IS coming, we've had  a few days of light rain finally, and I'm so thankful for slightly cooler evenings.

Meanwhile, this little man is growing like a WEED and loves to grin and hang with his dad, and be dragged around by Sofie, and loves to eat and sleep.  This boy is an easy one, folks, for which I am thankful.  Life's a little crazy, and he adds a lot of sweet.
They all do...but these are not my favorite.

Beautiful news is that after putting out a request over six months ago now for an intern to help us this year, the Lord's opened a lot of doors and has a lovely girl coming next week!  Nikki is from Jersey and just graduated in elementary ed...she'll be helping at home and at EBS, with homeschooling and with teaching ESL...I can't even tell you how thankful we are, both to have her coming and for all the funding help she's received! YAY...more on that soon!

Also another huge praise the Lord on the way...next post!

Tomorrow Matt preaches at the Vaudreil church and we'll rest up Nora (and all of us, this last week with ALL of us at school has us beat!) and get ready for another big week!
