It has been a busy, beautiful few days in Kansas. We've had good time with all kinds of good friends, had a few great services at NorthRidge Church, reconnected with lots of people, met a few we've been dying to meet, caught up and have been shooting, golf carting, motorcycling, splash parking, hot tubbing, grilling, bird watching, and played with all kind of people's fun toys and eaten lots of amazing food.
Here Nora and Charlotte are meeting baby Calvin, trying to figure out what having a baby brother might be like. "It's a BOY" Nora announced, quickly followed by Charlotte's "Can we pet him?"
The girls have so loved making new friends and reconnecting with old ones from last time we were here, and we've especially cherished catching up with men and women who have worked with us in Haiti, who have worked with Emmaus, or who have just been serving the same Jesus alongside of us for many years now!
We are so blessed with the richness of family in Kansas!
Randi and I are a week apart and were pregnant together with Charlotte and Nora, who were born 2 weeks apart...how's that for crazy :)
Thankful thankful for this rich time of cherished relationships that can't help but feel a million miles from normal life!
