A trip to the urgent care, then ER, then Walgreens, then Savannah for a trolley tour then the Jaxonville zoo and a double-date night and a whole lot of good sessions and powerful testimonies and conversations in between...just WHEW.
We are so thankful for the men and women, both missionaries from around the world and the Crosspoint crew serving and helping and facilitating all of this. Have some great pictures and testimonies to share once we're home.
Suddenly we leave first thing in the morning, Matt heads to the Presidential Gathering, the girls and I head back to Haiti (prayer request: international travel alone with three girls tomorrow, two of whom are still slumber party-ing as we speak).
We praise the Lord that Nora tonight was finally herself again...thankful for so much and that she's on the mend.
God has used this healthy group of missionaries and pastors, counsellors and friends to speak into so many wounded or tired or uncertain or needy places in our hearts and lives, to bring MUCH joy and fun and friendship for our children, and to truly renew and inspire us in our walks and calling to be growing closer to Him and simply sharing what He's so graciously continually sharing with us.
The added sweet blessing on top of meeting many new missionaries and friends was reuniting with several "old" missionaries and friends. The Orellanas are particularly near and dear to us...missionaries in Ecuador with three precious girls whom our girls dearly love. We are so blessed to have them in our lives...and good time with the Tallmans...and and and!
Please be praying for Matt as well these next days as he joins OMS's Presidential Gathering and speaks and catches up with lots of good friends and family as well.
How faithful is He who calls us each. Thank you for your prayers
