we like to move it, move it

This week has been PACKED.
Visits to see family...in which we discovered everyone's love of the motorized wheelchair.
Time with Grandmom Kay...such a good visit.

our annual date night with two of our favorites, Doug and Julie
The always take us somewhere we've never been in downtown Philly, and this year's "Tinto" was as good as the fellowship.
A trip to Old Navy, in which Sofie spent the whole time with the dog
ice cream sundaes and great music and fellowship at Jay and Denise's

going to one of Grammy and Pop-Pop's gigs
a surprise double b-day party today
and tonight, Matt, Lily, Sofie and Barb ate their weights in crab and mussels.  yikes.

All of this, since Thursday!  If we don't go back to Haiti soon, we're going to be more exhausted going back than we were coming here :)

Tomorrow, Matt's preaching and testimony-ing at Seeds of Greatness Bible Church at 8 and 10:30.  We love worshiping at SoG and hope to see some of you there!

toddler wonder-day

We just had a fantastic day with Grammy, Pop-Pop, Uncle Casey and cousin Nico today at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA.
An amusement/water park for toddlers, everything there was designed for kids ages 2-6.  And our three, ages 2, 3 and 4, were in kid HEAVEN.

Lily sucked every last penny out of her day-pass :)  She rode EVERY SINGLE ride she could ride, and squealed, screamed and grinned through every one.

There is just nothing more fun than watching your kids have SUCH a good time!
They extra loved sharing it with Nico, and he loved having friends to do it all with!

Then, just when we were all ready to drop, we found the water park :)

Sofie, coming off this ride with Daddy.  Yeah, you'd think she'd be scared.  But if Lily did it, she wants to, and came out calling, "DO IT AGAIN!"
Grammy and PopPop stuck with these guys all day :)

And then...they were done.
They were so exhausted by the time we left they could barely keep their eyes open!

What a wonderful day of making great memories with family with three fantastic kids.  It is so exciting, already, to see the gifts and personalities and joys of these three and wonder at the adventures and work God has for them in His world!
