There have been a humbling number of people who have prayed for me over the years (and then me+matt, and then me+matt+lily, and then....) but not many prayed for my mother, first. A lot has changed since Sarah started praying for me as a little girl, but man, one thing has not: I know, every late night that I click "post" on this blog, that tomorrow morning my warrior Sarah will be reading all the ramblings of my heart, laughing with me, crying with me, and far better, that she will stop with her morning coffee and pray for me.
What mountains and valleys she has prayed us through...and I will never know the ways God has shown up, the ways God has moved, the way God has intervened and protected and given grace because of the faithfulness of Sarah's prayers.
As He has been faithful to show up, so have you, and as He has been faithful to listen, you have been faithful to pray.
Thank you for loving Him, and for loving us, like you do...I hope and pray today is rich and sweet, and wish so badly we could be at the table with your beautiful family, one that is always so rich, so real, so welcoming, and so faithful.
We love you and pray the happiest of birthdays!
