After a crazy, busy, meaningful few days with lots of good family time to boot, everyone's back in their necks of the woods except for our brother Charles. It was so good to have some of our Ohio, Florida and Mississippi family all together, to have some of the cousins together after so long, and to have some of our family meet some of our family.
So thankful for all these connections, and for the way God's designed us to live and learn in community. I need these people and I'm thankful for how He meets our needs.
Dr. Lake is with us until Wednesday because he and Matt have been doing a teaching series together on their Holy is a Four Letter Word book. They've taught together many-a-time in Haiti, and what a joy it is to have Uncle Charles staying with us and pouring into us again. They kicked it off Sunday morning, then taught Sunday night, tonight, and will the next two!
