Life in Ohio:
The house that fell through maybe didn't? We don't know. I can tell you a good price for a cow and a butcher, I know how to bargain with market ladies over tomatoes and mangoes, but man alive, we have never bought a house or a car or a washing machine or a mattress before in our lives...and as you know, while trying to move to the other end of the country. In a lock down.
Please keep praying with us for wisdom and help and His timing and place. The littles are happy when they are with mom and dad, but Lily is struggling with figuring out our place in the world right now...I'm just thankful for your prayers. And for our Father. HE KNOWS.
Like many, we are rotating from homeschool (praise the Lord for Nikki!), to crafts, to walks, to bath time, to snack time, to reading time, to clean up time, to bike rides, and all over again. Again and again. Basically, we are once again doing what we did ALL semester last fall in Haiti on lock-down, but minus teaching and living it alongside neighbors and friends!
Matt's been working lots with the Emmaus team and the Wesley team...so much work is so challenging right now! Lots and lots of zoom. Again, something you already know....what a time to be transitioning so hard!
Here are a few photos from these days, and Matt's most recent "Five Minute Faithful." Check out the Emmaus Facebook page for more devotional thoughts!
So thankful for you each...so reliant on Him daily, working to trust Him with much. With Everything.
