Oh man, all this sweet and precious family is just such a gift.
They arrived safely Christmas Eve-Evening and it's been non-stop fun since then. I decided not to worry about perfect, not to worry about seamless...just to enjoy the memories and showing these precious 8 children God's great love for them.
So we handed them all candles and sang Silent Night and it has been precious and full of laughter and wayyyyy too much sugar.
I love them.
Did I ever get a shower? No, I did not. Are there remnants of wrapping paper and frosting all OVER the house. There are.
I am thankful.
It's so good to have family here, to stay up late with Lisa and Adam, to listen in on all the kids hilarious conversations (Nora and Jayla discovered they have the same grandfather today with SUCH glee :), to love them and feed them and share our Haiti family and friends and food and fun with them....it is so sweet.
Praising the Lord for all the ways He reminds us that Christmas is God drawn close.
