right where we are

It has been a few days of mostly not going as planned.  Gertha's little girl is quite sick (she was born 3 months after Sofie) and so Ger's been at the hospital (appreciate your prayers for Thaliya!) and our week of still working on month end, homeschooling, teaching, grading and not being able to go to the office has been wild. I've been off email and off the phone and I am so far behind I can't see straight...so we're doing another craft (today Lily insisted it was mobiles) and enjoying precious family time and cramming all I can in the wee after-bedtime hours and wondering how to do it in all in country where I cannot go buy some chocolate. 

It would help.  

Ben and Jerry's would help.

I would be a lot heavier with all that help.

We weren't sure how we were going to make it through the baby years with Sofie...crying 90% of the time...and now we're not sure how we'd make it through Ben's baby years without Sofie.  She is the best, and he ADORES her.

He is 20 lbs, and she's 42, so we're not sure how she totes him everywhere.

Joel and Sam got new goggles Tuesday.  Every since then, Nora has spent most afternoons playing in her swimsuit and goggles.
